Our development students put on a great show this year at their annual soirée titled: Curtain Call. The students produced the entire show from concept to costumes to choreography. This years show was inspired by the late Alexander Mcqueen, and was a juxtaposition of light (hard) and dark (soft). Images by Kristin Smith and Cynthia Wood.

diPietro Todd has had the honor of showcasing L'Oréal Professionnel’s premium ammonia-free hair color: INOA, to all of L'Oréal Professionnel’s American District Sales Consultants. The presentation inluded a detailed breakdown of the incredible technology behind this innovative hair color along with live models showcasing the gorgeous color achieved by INOA.

diPietro Todd had the honor of showcasing René Furterer's fabulous new curly hair line: Acanthe. The presentation was led Andrew Todd (Owner/Stylist) while Amita Moticka (Academy Dir. of Haircutting) and Ali Salahshoor (Educator and Stylist) showed beautiful models of curly hair styling on various lengths and textures.

diPietro Todd, in collaboration with Shu Uemura, Kerastase and INOA, showcased their latest inspirations in shape, color, styling, and technique. Collective V2 pulled inspirations from vintage glamour, light and dark, vibrant tribal prints, and unique street wear. The show was able to raise over $2,500 to benefit the Altruist Project, a group of hairdressers that improve the lives of those in need by doing what they do best.

Here is a glimpse of diPietro Todd's Fall 2009 collection. We took inspiration from vintage glamour and paired it with contemporary textures and finishes by shifting balances and mixing matte, pleated textures and smooth high-gloss shapes.
